Rockingham, NC- It had become so long that Tyler Number won the race for its first NASCAR craftsman truck series that the driver of number 18 mcanally-Hilgemann Chevroole did not win the victory lane after winning black tire 200 on Rockingham Speedway on Friday.

Thanks to a unique attempt by savings fuel, Ankram on July 11, 2019 shore up the 130-race drought dating on the finish line 6.657 seconds before the poll winner and runner-up Jake Garcia.

Ankrum’s last victory was long ago that the track that gave him his first win – Kentki Speedway – NASCAR has long since been away from the National Series schedule.

After 12 years of absence, in return to the series’ Rock “, the number had to fight with a continuous damage during an accident on Lap 2, an incident that put him in one lap. Ankrum withdrew as a beneficiary under caution for stage 2 breaks after lap 90 and started on a brave drive on the front.

The trophy was not the only reward for victory. He also earned a check of $ 50,000 to win the final triple truck challenge race.

“It’s strange – I didn’t know where Vijay Lane was,” the number said after climbing from his truck. “The way it began on this day, a lap down and (Crew Chief) Mark (Hillman) is calling a pit to get back the track status. …

“Just to save the fuel, the man. I knew that we were less than five (laps). I was hoping that I had saved enough, and we did … I just got something where I was picking up 60 percent directly, and I (Mat) was able to draft a couple of Kraftan and others, and I was able to save in that way.

“This is just real. I think it’s too much that the way it went down in Kentki in 2019.”

After the Corey Hem and Gio Ragger came into the pit, Ankram led the good at Lap 172. The two trichon garage drivers stayed on the track during continuous consistent precautions in the final stages and were running 1-2 before coming to the pit for fuel.

Hem seemed confused with the strategy that placed him on the track, while other top contenders raised him for fuel, which he hoped he would take him to the end of the race.

“I felt that if we had a track situation, we would have been in good shape from the very beginning,” Hem said, who was in 15th place and was in the eighth place. “Just a good ability was not attempted at my end. It was a difficult fight from there all day.

“I didn’t at all know what happened in the last 40 laps there, but we beat, and it seems that some others did not run fuel. Unfortunate. In that final phase, just a strange deal but to get a better ability, I must be better than me and the track is better.”

Even though the front rom motorsports put the force of Leyen Rigs and Chandler Smith after Hem’s last stop, both lacked fuel and their trucks had to bring their trucks to the pit road in the closing laps.

Daniel Hemic, Raja Karuth and Grant Enfinger benefited from the lack of force of force, finishing third, fourth and fifth respectively.

The trouble continued to follow the champion of the series, Tish Majesky, whose truck became loose from the inner lane in Turn 1, while he was running the Enfinger at Lap 109. Majeski’s number 98 Thorsport Ford returned to the outside wall and was removed from the race. After finishing 13th in Martinsville, Majski finished 31st and finished 33rd in Bristol in the last two races.

“I really can’t blame the grant,” Majski said. “He held me tightly, obviously took the wind to my right. Yes, just embarrassed, honest. I am not as a driver in the last three weeks. I feel very bad for everyone in Thorsport – (owner) Duke and Roda (Thorsan) – Yes, I just need to be better.”

Hem, who led a race-high 52 laps compared to 43 for Garcia, and topped 29 for Ekram, top in a series of 22 points on Chandler Smith and 62 points on the number in the third.

Kaden Honeycut, Jack Wood, Hem, Connor Mossack and Gio Raggio finished sixth in Friday’s race in 10th place respectively.

The truck series will return to Action on Texas Motor Speedway for Speedicash.com 250 to ET, FS1, NASCAR racing network radio, SeriusxAR Radio).
