Two surging teams meet as a trip to rays for Houston

Tampa Bay rays are hoping that the right -handed Shane Baz may be better than the way to start the month of May.
Eagle (4-3, 4.94 ERA) is scheduled to take the mound on Thursday evening in a four-game series opener in Houston.
Baz won his most recent outing after allowing one run and four hits in 5 2/3 innings of 3–1 win against Toronto Blue Jais last Saturday.
“Early, the strike zone was a small struggle for him. He could not come into a rhythm,” Raz Manager Kevin Cash said about the last beginning of the eagle. “Sometimes, you just get more naked to deal with it and find a way to navigate through batsmen, and make some pitches and rely on their defense.”
The eagle overtaken his first four initials in May with 9.61 ERA in May, after a separate change he started in season 3–0 in early April, playing a streamlined 2.45 ERA.
He is hoping to follow the performance of team partner Drew Rasmusen on Wednesday.
Rasmsen vacated a hitting Minnesota Twins in six innings in a 5–0 win, the seventh win in the last eight matches for Tampa Bay.
This was the second shutout in the last four matches for rays and the third in the last 11 competitions.
Astros on Wednesday afternoon won the streak of winning in a season-hai four matches with a 5-3 win against visiting athletics on Wednesday afternoon.
Victor Karatini had a tie-breaking two-run two-run in the seventh inning and Zach Desanzo single-handed, did home and scored twice for Astro.
Houston improved 20–10 at home.
Houston’s manager Joe Espada on Wednesday announced that he planned to start the rogue Ryan Guvsto (3-2, 4.58) in the series opener on Thursday.
This season, six of Gusto’s 12 performances have been in the form of starter. He recently played 4 1/3 innings against Seattle Meriners last Friday, allowing two runs and four hits without a loss of 5-3.
He moved to early rotation last week when left-handed brandon Walter developed elbow problems by Triple-e Chinese land and Ronel Blanco, which would require season-ending surgery.
Blanco, who threw a no-a-hitter against Blue Jais in the previous season, had 48 1/3 innings with 4.10 ERA and 48 with 48 strikes.
“As a team and as the leader of this team, I have to focus on the target to these people,” Espada said. “We are still (Al) the best team in the West, and (later), we have to raise each other, find someone who can come up and move and take these innings.”
Houston could be the first uniquely without Christian walker, who left the game on Wednesday after a hit on the right hand by 96 mph fastball, although the game walker said he should “be good to go.”
Maurisio Dubon will replace Walker after doing everything for them on Wednesday.
Brandon Lowe entered the 11-game hitting streak for rays.
