Minnesota Twins Shortstop Carlos Korea and Center Fielder Bayran Buxon left the game on Thursday afternoon after a third innings confrontation against host Baltimor Oriols.
The pair were chasing the pop-up of Sedric Mulins in the area of the shallow center when Buxon catched before contacting and both fell into the turf. It seems that their heads collided, with other twins on the field immediately speed for trainers.
Korea was immediately replaced by Jona Bride, while Buxon played the remaining third innings before being replaced by Tie France.
Buxon first worked in the game for Twins.
