Dante Reno recorded a brief appearance in a game for GameCox in the previous season and took his redsirt, entering the transfer portal after a spring practice in South Carolina.

They have four years of eligibility remaining.

“This means everything,” 6-Foot-2, 214-Pound Reno told 247Sports about Yale and her father’s own choice. “This is a great opportunity to get closer to the house and play in front of me and my family.”

Tony Reno has coached in Yale since 2012 and holds a record of 74–46. His teams have won four of the last seven Ivy League Championships (2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023).

“My father is a perfect winner,” said the little Reno. “Won four championships and put people into NFL, and draft people. I am super excited to compete.”

Bulldogs, which compete at the FCS level, ended with 7-3 records (4-3 Ivy League) in the previous season.
