Top USC Scorer Desmond Cloud Transfer to Washington

Last season, Senior Guard Desmond Cloud, who led the Southern California, said on Sunday that he would attend the Washington program.
The 6 -Foot -6 Cloud took an average of 15.8 points, 4.2 assistance and 3.5 rebounds in 33 Games (32 Starts) in the previous season. He allegedly chose Hakis on Alabama and Gonjaga.
Cloud announced its decision on Instagram.
Cloud wrote, “After a long and intensive process of recruiting each school, I have decided to sign at the University of Washington.” “I have a firm belief with the players coming and returning to the recruitment class, we can compete with great, which was very important to me.
“I am excited to work with my new colleagues and employees in Seattle Huski. Go Dugs !!”
Cloud’s decision means that the top two players of the USC were transferred to Washington. Wesley Yets, who were second with 14.1 scoring average and shot 43.9 percent from the 3-point range as a new player in the previous season, announced their move for Hakis in April.
The cloud was only one with Trojan in the previous season. He played his first two seasons in Xavier and enjoyed a breakout season in 2023-24 when he scored 16.6 points and was named Big East Most Improved Player.
Washington (13–18, 4-16 Big Ten) finished final in the 18-Team Big Ten in the last season under the first year coach Danny Sprinkle.
