Italian Jannik Sinner ran his record in the fourth round in Wimbledon, another example of his dominance in London 6–1, 6–3, 6–1 shown with the destruction of Pedro Martinez of Spain 6–1, 6–3, 6–1.

Cinner, who lost the French Open Final on Clay, was lost to Carlos Alkraz in disastrous fashion, did not affect Wimbledon, losing just 17 games through the first three rounds. It combines the record set by Jan Kodes of the Czech Republic in 1972.

Sinner’s dominance is so fulfilled that the number 1 player in the world, and top seeds, won all 37 of their service games in the initial week of the tournament.

Martinez had no match for the sinner while dealing with a shoulder injury, which first required medical attention in the set when the sinner took a 5–0 lead. Martinez did not have an ace, from 11 for a sinner and only 53 percent of his first service for his opponent won 79 percent.

“I am very happy in the second week, but I think we all saw that he was struggling with the shoulder,” Sinner said. “He could not serve very well, and especially on this surface, if you can’t serve well, it is not easy to play. But to come out to him a huge credit. From my side, I tried to stay solid from behind the court.”

Not only Sinner saved all the four brake points he faced, he replaced six out of 14, which he faced in a match against Martinez that went on just two hours.

It is the fourth consecutive time in his five trips to Wimbledon that Sinner carried forward in the fourth round.

Sinner faced Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria, who won 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (0) on Austria’s Sebastian offer. Dimitrov had 15 aces for owners and won 80 percent marks of his first serve.

Serbia’s No. 6 Seed Novak Djokovic also hovering in the fourth round, thrown out the country’s Miomyar Kakmanovic in 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 in one hour, 47 minutes.

It was a winning of the 100th match in Wimbledon for the seven -time winner as he reached the fourth round for the 17th time. Only Roger Federer (105) is higher.

Djokovic will face Alex D Minaur, Australia, who was 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-3 winners against Denmark’s August Holmagren. D Minaur won 85 percent of his first serpent and rescued four of the five brake points in front of him.

American Ben Shelton also roared 6-3, 7-6 (4), Hungary’s Marten Fuxovics in the fourth round with a 6–2 win. Shelton faced Italy’s Lorenzo Songo next time, who won the five set thriller on American Brandon Nakashima 6-7 (5), 7-6 (8), 7-6 (2), 3-6, 7-6 (3).

In the fourth round, there were Flavio Koboli in Italy and Marin Silic of Croatia, moving towards a matchup. Cobolli won 6–2, 6-4, 6-2 over Chechia’s Jakub Mennsic, while Silic defeated Jom Munar of Spain 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
