To force Virat Kohli U-turn on test retirement, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s “50% Sunil Gavaskar” analogy

Veerat Kohli asked to quit cricket that the entire cricket spectrum has shook. Kohli, of course in the last decade, the fallth format poster boy has done a miracle in the format, while it has also breathed a new life. However, Kohli’s message to BCCI, wants to follow the suit of captain Rohit Sharma and bend out of the format, has left the sports lovers. Former India cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has not only urged Kohli to rethink his decision, but has also led the Indian team in England.
In a video on social media, Sidhu highlighted the need for Kohli’s presence in the Indian team, called him ‘Night in Shining Armor’ for the side.
“Virat Kohli’s decision to retire has created an uproar in the cricket world. The intention is good that the old order changes and yield turns into new, but the time does not change at all because India is not on an extreme challenge, and they are going for a tour that you can work with an inexperienced side,” Sidhu said there.
Kohli’s intention is great … Time wrong – India will need their experience in England.

The former all -rounder of India also gave an example of the position of a Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar, where the then captain said how important the younger master was, even if he was 50% fit.
“My first Reliance World Cup in 1987, Sunil Manohar Gavaskar 103 Bukhar captain Kapil Dev Sir comes, Sunny Boy is the game tomorrow is how your feeling is getting 50%, smile, smile, very beautiful Kapil Dev Sir said, Sunil Gavaskar said, Sunil Gavaskar is much better than any person than 100%. Tough circumstances, he should lead from the front, he should lead.”
Even BCCI has urged Kohli to reconsider his decision. The board has allegedly called Virat a highly influential person to convince Virat to change his mind.
“The BCCI wants India to prosper for the prosperity of India, for the prosperity of India. Kohli Sir should be told, brother, this is fine, we appreciate your feelings, but Indian people need you. You are the unique shield that will be the protective shield of India, which is going to protect our country, which is going to protect our country.”
