TNT Sports Steps away from NBA TV

TNT Sports NBA will discard the inspection of TV operations, it was announced today by TNT Sports Chair and CEO Luis Silbervesar.
After a 17-year run with TNT sports, day-to-day operations will return to the league on 1 October.
“We made several proposals to provide service and continue to continue to provide NBA TV networks and related digital assets,” Silberwasar wrote in a memorandum to the employees of Warner Brothers Discovery Cable Unit, as reported by Sportico. “However, we did not further agree on a route that recognized our expertise, quality materials and the value of operational excellence that our fans and partners have expected from the TNT Games.”

The TNT will continue to generate digital materials for the league through the Bleker report and the House of Highlights and will maintain editorial control inside the NBA Studio Show. Extremely popular programs in which Charles Barcale, Kenny Smith, Shakeel O’Neel and Erni Johnson will air on ESPN and ABC.
