Syndication: Detroit Free PressDetroit Tigers Putcher Jackson Jobe threw against San Francisco veterans during the first innings at Comerica Park on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

The team announced on Wednesday that Detroit Tigers crooks would undergo the right -handed Jackson Job Tommy John surgery.

Job proceeded 4–1 with 4.22 ERA in 10 this season for tigers. He scored 39 runs in 49 innings.

He reached Major at the end of the last season and started four shutouts – which showed only one hit – two reliefs. He was then asked to give relief twice during Postsen, when he conceded three runs in 1 2/3 innings amidst an ALDS appearance against Wild-Card Outing vs Houston and Cleveland.

Job was the number 3 overall selection of Job 2021 MLB Draft. He was the first high school player elected that year.
