Tigers’ Casey Misee looks to defeat white sox for the first time

Colt Keith contributed a Go-forward double for Detroit Tigers to a Wednesday road victory against Chicago White Socks.
He can provide a game-changing play on a third basis at the conclusion of the series on Thursday. Or maybe five weeks from now.
All the tigers manager AJ HICT knows that the organization is ready to try Keith in the hot corner after spending the initial part of his career on the right or nominated hitter.
“We are curious about how we can maximize this roster,” Honch said. “I don’t know that it will be something that is primary, or I don’t know that it’s something you are going to see a lot, but during the games there are many times – as we use our entire roster – where it can be very beneficial to be able to insert it.
“Just giving him a different look on the ground balls. He is receiving something. He used to play a little base a little, so it is not foreigner for him. You can see him from time to time. We will see.”
No matter how tigers line up on Thursday, they can secure a series victory with a win at the conclusion of the four-game set. Riley Green had three hits and two RBI on Wednesday, and Keith doubled a cow-forward in the eighth innings.
Chicago ralled with four-rins, first innings deficit, but did not capitalize in late innings. Chase Medroth contributed three hits and one RBI as white Sox lost for the eighth time in 10 games.
Fielder Luis Robert Jr. of the White Sax Center, a 2023 all-star, who is hitting. 177 with five domestic runs and 20 RBI, sitting outside to reset the last two matches.
“He is physically in a good place,” Chicago Manager Will Veneble said about Robert, who leads the American League with 21 stolen bases. “Just want to give him a few days to lock him in some of these adjustments.”
The Tigers will try to reversed the right -handed Casey Mai season from its shortest beginning. Mai (6–1, 2.82 ERA) played 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision in Canasus City on Saturday, allowing three runs and eight hits, while in his last seven, started at least one home run for the sixth time.
Mise is demanding his first victory against white Sax. Six starts, in seven appearances including vs. Chicago, are 0–4 with 5.34 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 32 innings.
Chicago is ready to turn towards the scene Burke (3-6, 4.20 ERA). Rocky Wright-Hander reached 2.73 ERA in May 6, after struggling with 7.71 ERA more than 7.71 ERA in five outings, four starts in April.
He provided quality in each of his previous two outings, including a hard-fought loss in Baltimore on Saturday, when he scored two runs and five hits in six innings of 2–1 white sox necklaces.
Burke said that the beginning was “probably the best I felt that the stuff felt and the delivery of delivery.”
Burke won on September 28, 2024 behind a two—ball scorer in Detroit. He killed six and three left.
