Thunder faced pacers rally to take a 3-2 final lead

Oklahoma City-Jalen Williams scored 40 runs and Shai Gilgus-Alexander on Monday added 31 to lead Oklahoma City Thunder for a 120–109 win over Indiana pacers in NBA Finals.

Thunder carried the series 3–2, taking itself to the first NBA title game of the franchise as the team moved to Oklahoma City.

The series resumes on Thursday in Indianapolis.

Without a much more aggressive production from Tierace Heliberton, Pacers cut that Pascal Siakam’s 3-pointer had two-point first-huffs deficit, which was a 3-pointer from the wing with the remaining 8:30.

Thunder immediately responded, however, Cassen Wallace grabbed the rebound on Williams’s missed paste and flipped it to Lu Dort, which williams got for 3-pionuers.

After making just three 3-pointers in Game 4, the lowest in NBA final since 2010, Oklahoma City made 14 in Game 5.

On the next possession, Wallace stepped in front of an Andrew Nebhard Pass near the Hafcourt and ran for a fastbreak sting.

The plays ignited 18–4 runs that threw the game.

Williams continued his hot stretch in the final, moving beyond the ground 14 -25 and beyond the chap. He also added six rebellion and four assistance.

The Gilgas-Alexander area had 9-for-21 and 13 -14 on the free-thro line.

After being held without assistance in Game 4, the most valuable player of the NBA added 10 assistance and four blocks. The fourth quarter stole four and two of Gilgas-Alexander.

Williams scored 11 of their 11 points in the fourth.

But it was the protecting the thunder who led the road on Monday.

Oklahoma City scored 13 out of its 33 fourth quarter points from eight Indiana turnover.

Thunder ended with 32 points from 23 pacers turnover.

Haliburton, who shocked Thunder with a win-win shot in the last second of Game 1, ended with just four points, going to 6 from the floor. The ABC reported during the game that the all-star guard was struggling with a foot injury. He had seven rebounds and six assistance.

Siakam led pacers with 28 points and TJ McConel scored 18 points from the bench.
