Austin Wings, Tyler Sodersstrom and Nick Kurtz each helped each in-the-back rubber game to win athletics 6-3 against the tour of Toronto Blue Jais on Sunday afternoon.
Kurtaz also doubled and scored for A, who won three of the four headings in the all-star break.
AK left-handed batsman Jeffrey Springs (8-6) allowed three runs and three hits in 6 2/3 innings. He hit five and did not run a batsman.
Davis Schneider and Edison Barsan designed for Blue Jais, who dropped three out of four after the 10-game winning streak.
Toronto Starter Jose Berios (5–4) experienced his smallest outing of the season. He allowed four runs and five hits in three innings, thrown out one and drove two.
Mason Miller did a scorer ninth work for his 19th Save for A.
Gio Urshela started the second innings by playing a single role under the glove of Toronto Shortstop Bo Birthet. Berios then hung a curbol for Wynns with one and exploded over the fence in the left for a 2–0 lead.
Curtz doubled to start the third, Soderstrom came with one and ran a house above the fence in the center for a 4–0 lead.
Springs retired the first 14 batsmen, before the Schneider cut two outsiders in the fifth.
Prior to a pitch, Schneider hit a deep fly that appeared to the sail on the dishonest pole of the left area. The ball was ruled by the foul and the call was retained after a video review, rejection of Toronto’s manager John Schneider.
A placed his leadoff batter on the base for the fifth straight innings, when Toronto Reliler Tommy Nane fielded a return to Jacob Wilson and threw it for two-base error to start the fifth position on the first baseless Will Wagner’s head.
Justin Brohl entered the game and immediately served Kurtz to two runs homer to make it 6–1 from 6–1.
Vladimir Gurero Junior collected the second hit of Toronto’s game, a line drive single for the center in the seventh, and the barger came to the right with two runs each, which led to a 6-3 growth and the day was over for springs.
