In the final year of its contract, Nayler has developed one of the best contact hits in baseball with the traditional power-hitting First Basman. They have sacrificed the speed of some bat, but it has paid: Their strike rate has fallen from a respectable 16.3% to an elite 12.3%. While their Babip is helping to fuel the average, the expected statistics suggest that it is not just luck.
Because he would be a free agent after this season, Niler can be acquired without teams requiring their farm systems. Red Sox-If they decide to buy-so you can use the left-handed bat like him. The legends are a logical fit, although an in-division premium may apply. Do not exclude brooers, either, especially with RHYS Hoskins out for a long time.
Mich Keller, Age 29

Under the contract through 2028, Keller is one of the most valuable property of the pirates – and the reputation of ownership for Thrifness makes him a timid business candidate. His fastball velocity has taken a little dip, but he responded by accelerating the zone more effectively, reducing their walk and home run rates. A Career-Surverseth 6.3% HR/FB rate and stable command have helped them to live continuously.
Keller cannot headline a playoff rotation, but as a rock-solid number 3 starter, he can be priceless. The cub requires a hand, although they can choose a pure fare option. The veterans, a cruel NL West lacks the depth of rotation, may be an ideal fit.
