
Sara Phillrier signed a two -year expansion with New York Siren on Thursday by Sara Phillrier.
The 25 -year -old Canadian forward was the number 1 overall pick in the 2024 PWHL draft.
Philier earned the PWHL First Team All-Star and All-Ruki Samman in 30 matches, tied to the league lead with 29 points (13 goals, 16 aids).

Five power-play goals of Philier topped the PWHL and its 16 assistance matched the Young League’s single-season record.
“I am excited to signed again in New York for two more years,” said Philier. “It’s a special city to play, and I feel lucky to be a part of this team. I really look forward to what ahead and continues to make something great with Sirens.”
Philier scored 194 points in 120 matches in Princeton from 2018-24. Internationally, he has won gold medals with Canada at 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022 and Canada at the World Championships in 2021, 2022 and 2024.
