The Trump administration ordered the pen to erase the transgender swimmer’s record

The office of the US Education Department for civil rights ruled on Monday that Pennsylvania University violated the title IX when it allowed a transgender woman to compete on her women’s swimming team.
The university found that “equal opportunities of women were denied by allowing men to compete in women’s intercollegeate athletics and only to occupy intimate features of women.”
Thomas, a transgender woman, won the 2022 NCAA championship in women’s 500-yard freestyle. The Monday version of the government did not mention Thomas as the name.
The Education Department gave the pen 10 days to eradicate Thomas records. The school was also ordered to ban transgender athletes from women’s teams and issue apology letters to women athletes, whose “educational experience in athletics (by sex discrimination).
Penn has stated that it complies with all the applied Ivage League and NCAA rules about participation in women’s sports.
President Donald Trump issued an executive order called “Keeping Main out of women sports” on 5 February, stating that the administration would prevent federal funds to primary, secondary and secondary institutions, which allowed transgender girls or women to compete on girls or women’s teams.
The administration also launched the title IX investigation at Penn, San Jose State (who was allegedly a transgender player in its women’s volleyball team last season) and the title IX at Massachusetts Intarcholastic Athletic Association. Several other related works have been followed, in which the Department of Justice has sued the main state in an attempt to prevent transgender participation in girls and women’s game.
In March, the White House cut a $ 175 million into the Federal Fund for a pen related to the transgender athlete issue.
