“This is an explosive ballpark,” said Rocco Baldelli, manager of Minnesota. “There are going to be runs which are scored here. It is a very good place to hit. It is almost colorado-Ish, I think the way runs come in the board.”

Twins Utility Man Willy Castro had two hits and two runs and hit three domestic runs and five with RBI .333 (15 -for -45) in their last 14 matches.

Minnesota has won 17 of his last 20 matches against athletics, who have fallen 15 games under 500.

A manager Mark Kotsay is monitoring the position of Shortstop Jacob Wilson, who excluded Monday’s game with a rigid neck. Wilson ranks second among big companies with 81 hits.

“This game, at this stage when you play 162, is a large part of this game that is mental,” Cottage said.

“Something physical, of course, but you know that the mental side of the game is challenging when you don’t get success. But, I think for us, the mindset should have a new opportunity, a new day to go out and start something new.”

Right-handed Pablo Lopez (4-3, 2.75 ERA) will take a mound for Minnesota after scoring four runs in five innings in the road loss 5–0 on Wednesday.

“It was extremely taxed,” Lopez said. “I knew it was going to be very hot, very sunny, and I tried to prepare for it. … but it is just its nature. His boy was working with the same thing, and he was able to go out and dead.”

It was unusually unusual for 29 -year -old Venezuela, which did not allow more than two out of eight of its nine this year.

The Tyler is 1-for-8 against Sodersstrom Lopez, which is 2–0 with 3.75 ERA in four careers.
