The purpose of Rockies is to expand the rare winner streak in Remach vs. Giants

Finally, Colorado Rockies has a good streak to talk about going to Friday night’s game against host San Francisco giants.
The Rockies, who ruled the National League Cye Young Award winners Chris Sale and Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, ralled against the veterans to win a 4–3 victory against the veterans on Thursday night’s series opener.
This is the first time this season that Colorado has won consecutive games. Rockies started the season with a league-most bad 5–25 records, which tied the 2003 Detroit Tigers tied to the second worst 30-game start in modern baseball history.
Hunter Goodman sang a song with a Go-forward run in Jordan Beck on Thursday in the eighth innings of Colorado’s victory. Ryan McMahon also made two hits to Homard and Brenton Doyle and Alan Trejo to lead Rocky.
The victory lost the 13-game road for Colorado dating to win on 29 March at Tampa Bay. It also broke the 12-game losing streak in Oracle Park, returning on July 7, 2023.
“It would be fun,” McMahon said on the ground on Thursday when asked what the atmosphere would be in the locker room. “We will enjoy this one and get ready to go tomorrow.”
McMahon began the return of Colorado with a 3–1 losses with the lead-off home run for the Straight-Downing Center Field in the seventh inning from the Starter Justin Verlander. It snatched the 0-for-35 drought and 2-for-59 recession for 2024 all-stars.
“The bus is doing something to help the team,” McMahon said. “When you are not doing anything, it is a lonely feeling. Nice to do so.”
Rockies took a 4-3 lead with two runs in the eighth position of Reliever Tyler Rogers, who allowed just one earned run in 16 innings entering the competition. Bake tied the score with an RBI double and then scored that Goodman proved to be a game winning a game on a single-field single on the right.
“I think there is just a good approach,” veteran manager Bob Melvin said about Rogers’s struggle on Thursday. “Kill them in another way. Sometimes it’s going to happen. … It is very unpredictable the way he is pitching this year. You have got them to give credit. They had a good approach and stuck some hits together, which is not often.”
San Francisco will turn to the left-handed Robi Ray (3–0, 3.73 ERA) to start Friday’s game. The veterans are undefeated at the beginning of the six of Ray this season.
Ray started 19 career with 5-6 ERA with 5-6 against Rockies, but has not faced him since the loss of 8-7 on August 26, 2020, while Erizona is a member of the Diamondback.
Veteran right-handed Antonio Cenjettela (1-4, 5.22), which is 5–2 with 4.31 ERA in 13 career appearances (11 beginnings) against veterans, will begin for Colorado.
Rockies will try for his first three-game winning streak from 12–14 September of the previous season.
“Baseball, any team can beat anyone,” Melvin said. “It’s not like football, where it happens once a week. Yes, they are leaving for a slow start … but they got a few big hits in the game late. Usually, it’s going to win the game for you in a low scoring game.”
