The honor of Kings prepares to roll its most ambitious update

Honor of Kings is rolling out its most ambitious update yet, so significant it’s rebranding as Honor of Kings Plus. Starting June 24, players can expect a host of new features and improvements, many driven by community feedback.

“We’ve really pushed ourselves to introduce new, groundbreaking, and engaging content and refine existing features,” says Game Producer Dean Huang. “We look forward to the response of the community.”

Honor of Kings Update Introducing Flowborn: Your Personal Hero

A groundbreaking addition is Flowborn, a unique in-game avatar that offers unprecedented depth and customization. Flowborn isn’t just another Hero; it’s an extension of you on the battlefield.

Flowborn Features:

• Determine Your Look: Customize appearance, skin tone, and outfits, with additional clothing and hairstyles unlockable.
• Create 2D Posters: Design and share personalized posters with various backgrounds, stickers, and nameplates.
• Adaptive Combat System: Utilize versatile weapons and skills effective across multiple lanes and freely select attribute buffs during a match.

Flowborn Rollout:

• Marksman: Available June 24
• Tank: Coming soon in July
• Mage: Coming soon in July

Enhanced Player Recognition

The Honor of Kings Plus update will provide greater acknowledgment for individual player performance, even in losing matches.

New Scoring System:

• Result points combine match victory and personal performance points.
• Personal performance points are based on basic evaluation and “Highlight Moments.”
• Ratings and Stars are awarded for achieving “Highlight Moments.”

Examples of “Highlight Moments”:

• Destroying a high-ground tower and the opponent’s crystal solo will boost your rating directly to SSS.
• Carrying the game with a full score earns an additional 2-star rating.
• Even in a 1v9 scenario where you can’t carry the match, you may retain or gain Stars.
• Players on the losing side who receive a gold medal (even if not MVP) have the potential to gain Stars.
  The global version will also feature a more transparent rating system compared to the Chinese version, with clear bonus points for each rating tier.

Breaking Down Language Barriers with new Honor of Kings Update

To improve communication, Honor of Kings will begin offering real-time voice-to-text transcription and translation starting June 24. This augmented functionality will initially support Chinese, English, Indonesian, and Malay, with more languages potentially added later. This feature aims to facilitate communication among existing friends and teammates and help players make new connections.

Battlefield Improvements for Smoother Gameplay

To enhance game flow and reduce frustration, several changes are coming to the battlefield:

• Mid Lane: Minion count increased to four; Central River Sprite removed for better balance.
• Top and Bottom Lanes: Adjustments to respawn frequency, abilities, and rewards for River Sprites and the Space Sprite.
• Red Falcon: Rebalanced spawn timing, skills, and rewards.
• Super Minions: Attributes lowered in all three lanes to balance late-game pressure.
• Turret Shield System: Changes implemented.
• Teleport Summoner Skill: Now permanently available with improved visuals.

Honor Pass Makeover

The Honor Pass system has been revamped based on community feedback. The new streamlined mission system is now the primary source of event-based rewards. Players will earn experience for:

• Completing Honor Pass missions.
• Achieving Highlight moments.
• Completing campaigns.
• This experience can be used to upgrade Honor Pass levels and earn more rewards.

Additional Honor Pass Benefits:

• All players will receive an Elite Pass for free for the first month after updating.
• The first new Honor Pass will be KWC themed.
• Reach Level 1 for the Nuwa-Syzygy Moonlight skin and Level 80 for the free Alessio EWC skin.
• Upgrading to the Deluxe Pass grants an additional 398 tokens for future Honor Passes.
  Exciting Limited-Time Events
