The explosion of Joan Monkada helps Angels expand the athletics skids

Yon Monkada hit a three-run homer and Logan O’Hope also deepened and had two RBI to lead Los Angeles Angels to win a 7–5 win over athletics struggling on Tuesday night in West Sacramento, California.
O’Hope gave the Tybreaking single in the four-run fifth innings, which helped Angels win the fifth straight game. Each of O’Hope, Monkada and Taylor ward made two hits for Los Angeles, who have won the first two games of the four-game series among the American League West rivals.
Sheya Langlers and Nick Kurtaz ran home for athletics, who saw the worst line reaching seven games in their season. He has lost 11 of his last 13 competitions.
AK Standout Shortstop Jacob Wilson left out after 4 1/2 innings due to a left front. He collided with a pitch of Angels Starter Kyle Hendrix in the third.
Hendric (2-5) gave four runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings. He hit three and no one went.
Kenley Jenson allowed Seth Brown’s Pinch-Hit RBI Single to Tyler Sodersstrom with two outs in ninth place before finishing the game for the second straight night. This was Jensen’s 10th Save of the season.
Gunnar Hongland (1-2) of athletics was accused with five runs in 4 2/3 innings with five runs. He killed five and two left.
Angels entered three to fifth position.
Luis Rengifo single-handedly single-handed to end the 12-picha at-bats and went to Quin Paris before Haggland’s next two batsmen retired. Monkada then put a 2–0 deep blot in trees beyond the right area wall. The 439 -foot explosion tied the score to 4.
