The drama appears in the IPL as Sam Curan has attached to the warm oral spat with Punjab Kings Dugout

Sam Curan provoked the test position to produce an Imperius 88, but his knock was wasted as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered a loss of crushing Punjab Kings (PBK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Disadvantage means that CSK was removed from the IPL 2025 playoff race. This was the first half century of Curran’s season, coming to a significant turn after losing three initial wickets of CSK after batting by PBKS. Curran and Dewald Brevis jointly turned on the heat on PBKs bowling with a fourth-wicket stand of 78 runs.

After completing his half -century, Curran was seen pointing a phone to someone at the CSK camp. Curran, released by PBKS last season last season, has played only four games for CSK this season, indicating his gesture that he should be played more in this season.

After his dismissal in the 18th over, Curan made a visible change with PBKS management as he was running back to the dressing room. In a viral video, Curan was pointing to PBK Dugout.

The CSK is out of the playoff race for the second serial season, which is happening for the first time.

For the first time in its IPL history, CSK has recorded five gradual disadvantages in Chepack.

Both teams have levels at the head-to-head battle at 16–16, and PBK is more prominent in recent outings. PBK has defeated CSK in seven of its last eight matches, including three wins in Chepack during three trips since 2023.

Coming into the match, PBK won the toss and opted for bowling first. The CSK was 48/3 at one point, then the 78 -run stand between Sam Curan and Developed Bravis (with 32 in 26 balls, two fours and a six) helped him back into the innings. Curan continued firing in single-hand, with 88 in 47 balls, nine fours and four sixes. CSK was excluded for 190 in 19.2 overs. It was a hat -trick of Yuzvendra Chahal (4/32) that dropped CSK from 172/4 to 190.

Arshdeep Singh (2/25) was also fantastic with the ball.

During the run-chase, Priyash Arya (23 in 15 balls, with five fours) and Prabhasimran Singh gave PBK a quick start with a 44-run stand. A 72 -run stand between Prabhasimran (54 in 36 balls, with five fours and three sixes) and Skipper Shreyas Iyer strengthened PBKS’s control over the game. Iyer continued to control, scored 72 in just 41 balls with five fours and four sixes and partnered with Shashank Singh (with 23, four and two sixes in 12 balls). PBKS lost wickets towards the end, but won four wickets with two balls.
