The cubs swat three homer and turn off the card

Ian Hap hit a homer and scored three runs, as the Chicago Cubs rolled 8–0 on Wednesday night behind St. Louis Cardinals.
Reese McGire hit a two -run homer and Kyle Tucker hit a single shot for the cub, who won the second time in his last seven matches.
Michael Bush (3 -for -5, two runs, RBI) and Dansbi Swansan (2 -for -5, two runs) were also productive games for Chicago.
After scoring 54 runs in his last six matches, the cub shut down the cardinals.
The cub starter Matthew Boyd (7-3) vacated St. Louis on three hits in six innings. He hit three and no one went.
Ryan Brassier, Michael Phulmar and Porter Hodge worked in a scorching innings to complete the shutout.
Cardinals Starter Eric Fedded (3-7) gave seven runs on eight hits and two runs in 3 2/3 innings.
Hap hit a domestic run on the first pitch of the game to give the cub a quick lead.
Chicago made its profit to 4–0 in the second innings. Swansan led a double and scored on the single single of Basch. After the next two batsmen of Fedede, McGuer hit his two runs homer.
Tucker’s third innings Homer pushed the cub’s profit 5–0.
The cub raised its lead in the fourth innings 7–0. Busch went, stole the second base and went third on a flyout to start the rally.
After Matt Shaw’s walking and stealing the second base, Hap hit two runs single. Chicago loaded the hideouts, but the Reluver John King received Pete Crow-Armestrong to hit an inning-ending groundout.
Swansan proceeded from the fifth, but he reached a wild pitch to start another rally. Busch reached an informed hit, Nico Horner hit a single and Shaw landed 8–0 in the run-scoring force play.
Newly acquired utility player Garat Hampson performed the ninth innings pitch for cardinals and retired the cub on three pitches.
