
The Chicago cub left-handed Shoto Imanaga was placed on the 15-day injured list on Monday with a stressful left hamstring.
The cubs are without Ianga and another top starter-justin steel-because they start a three-game home series with San Francisco giants on Monday.
Due to one day on Thursday, the cubs could leave the turn of Emmanga in rotation.
This season, in eight, Imanaga (3–2) posted 2.82 ERA with 34 strikeouts and 14 walks in 44 2/3 innings. He was the only all-star of the cub in the last season as a crook and began at the inauguration of 2025 in the Tokyo series against Dozers.
Emmanga, along with Broverns and Freddy Paralta, injured a scorched pitcher on Sunday in the sixth innings of the pitcher, when he reached behind his left leg in pain.
Emmanga on Tuesday left his previous beginning with leg cramps in the sixth innings against Pittsburgh Pirates.
The right hand-handed Gavin Holowell joined the cub from Triple-eova on Monday and is expected to work out of the bulpane.
Steel was placed on the 15-day injured list with left elbow tendonitis on 9 April.
