Francisco Lindor said that he believes that a good week may change the perception of New York Met’s.
Lindor and Mets already know the effect that can be done by a bad week – or two.
Mets will again try to get out of their long recession on Wednesday night when they will host Atlanta Braves in the third competition of four-market series.
Clay Holmes (7-4, 3.04 ERA) has been slated to start for mates against partner right-handed Didie Fuuntse (0–1, 7.20), which will create their second major league appearance.
Matt Olson’s two-run singal postponed a tie and capted the sixth innings of five runs in Braves’ 7–4 win on Mates on Tuesday.
Atlanta improved 5–0 against New York this season, and was 10th in the last 11 matches for Mats.
New York had the best record at 45-24 in baseball and held a 5 1/2-game lead on Philadelphia Philips on 12 June, but fell to second place in 1/2 games behind Philips.
Nevertheless, there were glimpses of optimism on Tuesday for Mets.

The victory continued an unusual season for Braves, which is 37-41 despite a run difference of Plus-29-until now the best run difference between any departure inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-inter-interior team.

On June 17, at the age of 20, Futen started his big league on Friday after giving four runs in five innings, as Braves fell 6–2 to Miami Marlins.
