The attendance records in NHL, crosses 23 million fans

In 2024–25, over 23 million fans participated in the NHL regular-season game, the highest clan in the 108-year history of the league.

The League on Friday announced that a total of 23,014,458 people participated in a game during the 1,312-game season. The previous season sets the previous record of 22,873,142.

In addition to the 32 teams’ home Arenas, NHL also played Winter Classic at the Vrigle Field in Chicago, a stadium series game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus and also played at the Global Series Games in Prague, Chechia and Tempare, Finland. A total of 94,571 fans in the game at Ohio Stadium marked the second largest gathering in NHL history.

Fuel by 41 cellouts at Bell Center, Montreal Canadines led all clubs in total presence with 865,305 fans.
