Tadej Pogacar Tour Day seizes yellow jersey in France

Rameko Enepl won Stage 5 on Wednesday as defending champion Tedes Pogkar seized the yellow jersey of the overall race leader in Tour de France.
Belgian’s Eple won the first individual time test of this year, completing a 33 km route in the flat area in CAEN in 36 minutes and 42 seconds.
Pogakar of Slovenia finished second, 16 seconds, and Edoardo Finnay of Italy finished third.
Three -time champion Pogkar took the overall lead, followed by Onpel and Kevin Wouquelin of France. Matthew Van Der Paul of the Netherlands lost the yellow jersey and slipped to the sixth position.
Matio Jorgenson remains a leading American in the race at the fifth position.
Stage 6 is a hill on Thursday, 201.5 km trek from Bayx to Veer Normandi. International Cycling’s premiere 21-stage race will end in Paris on 27 July.
