Suspended game diamondback, long days for reds

Arizona Diamondback and Cincinnati Reds will not play two on Saturdays, but they will try to play more than one.
The three-game series opener in Cincinnati was suspended on Friday night due to rain, with the score at the top of 3-3 to the seventh innings.
The game will resume on Saturday at 2:10 pm on ET, and regularly scheduled games will begin 40 minutes after the end of the suspended game, but not before the regular scheduled time of ET at 4:10 pm.
However, rain is also forecast throughout the weekend.
The Reds exited a 3–0 hole and tied the score 3-3 at a single house run by Christian Encarnsian-Strand at the bottom of the sixth on Friday night. He had a later rain in the innings on Jose Travino on the third basis, but he could not find a go-forward run home in an official game.
When the game resume was unknown, who would pitch for the team, but Arizona’s right -hand Rhine Nelson is set to return to rotation in the second game.
Nelson is replacing former NL Sye Young winner Corbin Burns, which will have Tommy John Surgery next week, Diamondback Manager Tori Lovulo announced on Friday.
Burns on Sunday released two outsiders in the fifth innings of a 3–1 victory against the citizens of Washington.
“I do not have an accurate diagnosis or accurate detail, I just know that Tommy John includes a ligament and it is compromised and requires the process,” Lovulo said. “So, we are currently with Corbin. It is a difficult day to get this news, but we will find a way to rally around him and work hard for him throughout the year.”
Nelson (2–1, 3.43 ERA) had moved to Bulpen in the previous weekend before the return of Eduardo Rodriguez from the 15-day IL from IL to start on Friday. Rodriguez threw the two-nine balls into five innings.
Nelson was a full -time starter for diamondback in the last two seasons, but 10 of his 13 performances this season has been ruled out of Bulpen.
Nelson said, “I get the ball every time, no matter what the situation is or what is the score.” “I am going there to do my work no matter what it is.
Nelson is riding 11 2/3 shutouts in his last three shows.
He recently threw four innings of shutout relief to the citizens who came on 31 May in the defeat of 11-7. His last beginning came on 26 May, when he hurled 6 2/3 shutouts in a 5–0 win against Pittsburgh Pirates.
Nelson never faced Cincinnati in his career.
Reds should have a shortstop Elli de la cruise available after missing the beginning of Friday due to his sister returning from his funeral in the Republic of Dominican.
Cincinnati’s manager Terry Frankona said, “He was actually trying to reach here on time for the game, but one of her flights was canceled, so she is getting here later.”
Nick Martinez was added, who is ready to start on the mound for Reds on Saturday, “he is our boy.”
Martinez (3-6, 3.89 ERA) on Sunday dropped its most recent beginning after allowing Chicago cub for five runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings of 7-3 defeat.
Martinez has made 13 demonstrations against Arizona in his career, including a beginning, two with rescue 1-0 and 4.26 ERA.
Diamondback Catcher Gabriel Moreno left just before the delay of rain after taking a wrong pitch with his bare hand. According to Lovulo, Moreno was removed for precautionary reasons, and X-rays were negative.
The hand was swollen, so the team would monitor that Saturday morning, Lovullo said.
