Suryakumar Yadav provides an umbrella to Harsh Bhogle amid heavy rains. The Internet says ‘season of season’. Watch

Mumbai Indians entered the IPL 2025 playoffs after a loud 59 -run win over the Delhi Capital at the Wankhedi Stadium on Wednesday. It was asked to bat first, MI posted a total number of 180/5 in 20 overs, when Suryakumar Yadav scored 73* runs off 43 balls. Later, Michelle Santner and Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets, as MI dropped DC for 121 and won the match by 59 runs. With this win, the five -time champion won a playoff berth, while DC knocked out of the race.
Suryakumar played the match award for his performance and became one of his sweet gestures towards Harsh Bhogle.
During the post -match presentation, Suryakumar came with an umbrella in hand as it was raining heavy. As the MI batsman came towards Harsh, who was about to talk to him, he offered his umbrella to the star presenter.

Seeing this, Harsh smiled and also forced Suryakumar for his sweet gesture. During the presentation, the batsman also dedicated the award to his wife Devisha Shetty.
Speaking in the post -match presentation, Suryakumar said, “It has now been 13 games. My wife has told me a lovely story today. She said that you have received all the awards except mother. This award is special today. From the team’s point of view, the knock was important, and this trophy is also for her.”
She said, “She waits for such moments, and we are clearly celebrated for it. It was important for a single batsman to bat till the end. We knew that it was more than 15–20 runs, so we had to wait till the end,” he said.
Chasing 181, the Delhi Capital, which was regularly without captain Axar Patel, played 121 roles in 18.2 overs, with Sameer Rizvi (39) top scorer.
Mitchell Santner was a pickle of the Mumbai Indians bowlers, returning from 4–0-11-3 and accounting for Rizvi, Vipraj Nigam (20) and Ashutosh Sharma (18). Jaspreet Bumrah returned from 3.2–0-12-3 and enjoyed another successful outing.
