Except for Abhishek (40 runs in 28 balls) and Heinrich Klassen (37 runs in 28 balls), other SRH batsmen could not make a remarkable contribution as he saw just 162/5 in 20 overs. MI chased the target in 18.1 overs. Sky scored 26 runs in 15 balls.

Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Daniel Vetori said that it was an MI bowler who made the work extremely difficult for SRH batsmen in the first half of the game.

“It was incredibly difficult through those medium stages,” he said.

“It was a hard surface.
