“Surprised and deeply sad




India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar and former captain Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday expressed grief over the death of the victims of terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Tendulkar took his official social media handle and said that he is “shocked and deeply sad” after this horrific incident.

“Hachin Tendalkar wrote on X,” Surprised and deeply saddened by tragic attacks on innocent people in Pahalgam. The affected families should undergo an unimaginable ordinance – India and the world united with them in this dark hour, because we mourn the loss of life and pray for justice. ,

Sourav Ganguly, president of the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI), also expressed his views on the same.

My thoughts and prayers are with families who lost their lives in Pehelgam. Serious action should be taken against the criminals .. Can the Government of India not be spared .. “Sourav Ganguly said.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the families of the victims outside the police control room in Srinagar. The Union Home Minister paid his tribute to the victims of the attack, which garlanded a poignant ceremony in Srinagar and left the Kashmir Valley and the nation in collective grief and deep mourning.

Family members, whose faces were with deep grief, were seen arguing with the Home Minister, because they were trapped with grief, expressing the depth of their pain after the sad disadvantage of their loved ones in the attack.

In New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a briefing with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and other officials in view of the recent terrorist attack in Palgam in Kashmir, in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, solidarity and attack condemnation with the families of the victims, along with political parties, the unions of traders in the region have collectively called for a complete shutdown in the Kashmir Valley today.
