Rahul’s 177 -ball attempt made him only the second Indian batsman after Dilip Vengsarkar for several centuries at Lord’s.Pants and Rahul pairs 141 for the fourth wicket, before the Pant Lunch stroke was run out by Ben Stokes. Jadeja later combined with debut Nitish Reddy (30) to jointly add 72 runs for the sixth wicket, giving India a significant lead in the competition.
