Pittsburgh Steelers signed a new contract to General Manager Omar Khan which runs through the 2028 season.

The team announced the contract on Thursday but did not release any financial statements.

Khan was named General Manager in 2022, but is in its 25th season with the franchise.

“I am confident that we are building a championship roster and are ready for the 2025 season and continues to bring another super bowl for our target Pitsburg city and our great fans as further,” Khan said in a team news release.

He has a busy offsen, connecting the veteran quarterback Aaron Roders, the all-Proph Cornerback Jalan Ramsey and the tight end to Jonu Smith navigating the trading and drafts. Steellers tackled the defensive tackle of Oregon’s Deric Hormone with their first round pick.

Steellers President Art Ruuni II said, “Omar and his team have done a great job in the last three years in the construction of our roster through NFL drafts, strategic trades and free agency.” “We are ready to continue the trend that will give even more success on the field.”

Steellers currently have 12 selections in the seven-round 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh.

Before being nominated by General Manager, Khan was the vice -president of the team of football and commercial operations. He replaced former GM Kevin Collbert.

Steelers are coming from back-to-back 10-7 seasons. Both of them lost in the wild-card round of the year playoffs.
