Aaron Roders will wear black and gold for their 21st season at NFL, as Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to the terms with a four -time MVP quarterback on a one -year contract.
The club confirmed the deal – which is not a physical pending late Thursday night.
The 41 -year -old Rogers have allegedly planned to go to Pittsburgh to sign the contract and is intended to participate in the steeler’s mandatory minicamps next week.
The biggest need of a quarterback will open 2025 seasons on the road on 7 September, the former team of NFL teams, steelers, roders, New York Jets. Rogers will probably begin the last season to the weeks 1 starter of Pittsburgh, Justin Fields, who joined the jets in the free agency.
Prior to the long -standing agreement of the Rodgers, Mason Rudolf was a starter presented for Steelers. Rudolf returned to the steelers after a season with Tennessy Titans.
Pittsburgh left Russell Wilson, who changed seven games in the regular session of 2024. Wilson is now a member of the New York giants, and is expected to be his starter.
Rogers come to Pittsburgh after two disappointing seasons with jets. He maintained a season-ending torn tendon on the fourth game of the 2023 season, which was his first with Gang Green, and Jets left 5–12 behind the roaders in 2024, leading to a franchise clean house.
In 2011, a 10 -time Pro Baller, who won the Super Bowl with Green Bay Packers, was also linked to Green Bay’s Division Rotation, Minnesota Vikings, which would instead with JJ Macarthi under the center.
