Stallian rally in preview of USFL Conference Title-Games previous panthers

J’Mar Smith on Saturday was associated with Dion Can for a 19-yard touchdown pass with 2:30 to lift Birmingham Stallian for a 26-22 win over Michigan Panthers.

Stallian (6-3) marched at a distance of 72 yards at 5:25 for the winning score, responding to Toa Tau’s 2-Yard Tachdown run, which gave the panthers (6-3) to play with a 22-20 lead with 7:52. Tau’s touchdown responded to 1-yard explosion by Larry Route III with 11:32, in which Birmingham took its first lead.

Smith completed 22 -31 passes for 307 yards. Both of his touchdown went to strike can, which ended with four catches for 55 yards. Cad Johnson added three receptions for 82 yards.

Michigan Quarterback Danny Elting passed 239–39 for 236 yards and two scores. The political merrinner snatched five catches for 115 yards, including a 33-yard strike to open scoring in the second quarter.

Stallians and Panthers already entered the game with playoff spots in hand. They will meet on 8 June in Birmingham to determine the winner of the Char-Team USFL conference.
