SRH, Shami, out of IPL 2025, is at risk of death, Rabada back to GT & BCCI to remove Bumrah?

May 5 was an incident for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) announced a replacement for Saharan Ravichandran to start the day and knocked out of the tournament until the end. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also named a replacement in Urvil Patel. The Gujarat Titans (GT) got back their pacer, Kagiso Rabada, back.

But non-IPL news was probably more important. Mohammed Shami was threatened by email. The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) can remove Jasprit Bumrah as the test vice-captain of the India Cricket Team. And finally, the departure date for India A’s tour of England is out.

To remove BCCI Bumrah as Test Vice-Captain

BCCI is thinking of removing Bumrah as a Test Vice-Captain of Team India. Pacer is Rohit Sharma’s deputy for a few years and even leading in Australia. But due to the concerns of injury and the fact that he needs to relax to ensure that he may remain dissatisfied in England, it is no longer considered to be for the role of leadership.

SRH IPL finished from 2025

Last year, SRH was one of the best teams. He reached the finals after winning 8 group stage matches. This year became completely opposite. He has played out of 11 matches, has lost SRH 7 and has been knocked out. They cannot be convicted for ending the rain, given how bad they have played.

Kagiso Rabada back for Gujarat Titans

On 3 May, it was discovered that Kagiso Rabada was provisionally suspended after positive testing for a restricted non-demonstration drug. Well, two days later (May 5), his suspension ended. Rabada was suspended from April 1 to May 1 and is therefore eligible to play in IPL and WTC finals.

On the IPL 2025 final day, India ‘A’ will depart for its upcoming 2-match tour in England on 25 May. The squad for the tour is not yet finalized, but some main players have to be included. After playing 2 matches against England Lions, India will face the main team for an intra-skavaad game.

SRH and CSK bring late replacement

CSK and SRH have been forced to bring into replacement after exiting IPL 2025. Wicketkeeper batsman Vansi Bedi has been excluded with an ankle injury, and CSK has brought Uril Patel as his replacement. Meanwhile, SRH has brought all -rounder Harsh Dubey for Saharan Ravichandran, who was a replacement for Adam Zampa himself.

Shami receives the risk of death

Currently playing for SRH, Indian Pesar Mohammed Shami has been at risk of death at his home in Amroha. A person sends an email to Shami, in which Rs 1 crore demands from him as ‘Safety Money’, otherwise the pacer will be in danger. India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir also received death threats through email.
