Spenser Sturdear played six strong innings and Matt Olson hit Atlanta Braves 7–1 on Thursday to help the three-game series complete.
This was only the second season for Braves, who won six of their last seven matches. New York has lost season-high Six Strait.
Sturdear (2–5) allowed one run on five hits and one run with eight strikes. He retired 12 out of the last 13 batsmen, who faced him 5–1 against Mats.
Atlanta Relievers Anell de Los Santos, Dylan Lee and Rafael Montero made a scorer to each ending the game.
Olson did 2 -for -3 with two doubles, two walks and two runs. He has securely hit 10 direct sports and has reached the base safely in 20 consecutive games, the longest active streak of Major.
New York Starter Clay Homes (7-4) conceded three runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings. He released a career-high six walks, throwing five and a career-high 104 pitches.
Mets scored the first run of the game in the second innings. Tyron Taylor did a single with one, stole the other and came home on Ronnie Mauricio’s two-outs.
The brave people tied the game at the fourth place on the RBI single by Ozi Albiz.
Atlanta took a 3–1 lead twice in the fifth innings. Two walks and one single loaded the locations, and Drake Baldwin attracted a run-scoring walk, temporarily shut down the coming ball after playing, while Holmes shut down its Pichchom device. Reliever Huskar Brezoban entered and ran albies on four pitches to force another run.
The brave kept the game open by scoring four times in the sixth innings. With two external and bases, Olson line a double to right field, which cleaned the bag. When Baldwin sang to the right, Olson scored.
Juan Soto of New York shut down the Sturdear in the first innings to take its 1,000th of his 1,000th career. However, team partner Jeff McNell went 0 -for -4 and saw his line to reach the base end in 20 games.
