Sounders, Timbers will be fresh for Cashedia Cup

How important is the Cascadia Cup rivalry between Seattle and Portland: The two teams used a heavy rotating lineup in the midweek games to ensure that they had their best players for Saturday’s matchup at the Providence Park.
The sounders (5-4-4, 19 points) made an unbeaten five-match unbeaten lose to Los Angeles FC on Wednesday, while Timbers (6-3-4, 22 points) played in a scorer draw at Real Salt Lake.
“From a physical perspective, people who are going to start the game (Saturday) will be ready to go,” said Soundlers coach Brian Shmetzer said. “You always run the risk when to change. The lineup we made against LAFC first got good success against them (win 5-2 in Seattle 5–2 in Seattle).”
Seattle’s Danny Mussovsky, who came as an alternative in the 57th minute on Wednesday, scored a five -match goal, which was a streak of streak.
Timbers worked hard in the last five minutes at RSL, but were unable to go on board.
Coach Phil Neville said he hopes that the intensity will be very high on Saturday.
Neville said, “This is a darby game. Gone, became aggressive, got to show our qualities,” Neville said, whose club has lost only once in its last 10 league matches (5–1-4). “We are going out from there and play our game and increase intensity from the second night.”
Neville said Kevin Kelsey (Lower Body) is suspicious of the match and goalkeeper James Pentamis (leg) is “50–50”.
Timbers captain Diego Chara is getting ready against Seattle for his 36th match, which is more than the MLS season game.
“We know how important it is to our fans and clubs,” Chara said about rivalry. “This is going to be the first for some players, but they have experience playing classic games in their countries.”
