Slamping sparks find in search to lose sky skids

Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky share an unfavorable difference, with both teams tied to the WNBA for second-time active lost streak in three straight losses.
One of the two teams will end their skids in Chicago on Tuesday as both sides try to push themselves back into the playoff photo.
Akash (3–10) returns home after losing six out of its first seven in the month of June. His last defeat showed excellent personal efforts by 93–80 road losses against Atlanta’s dream, veteran forward Elizabeth Williams.
The 11th year of big Kamila came for cards and scored 16 points to go with five rebounds. He displayed the kind of performance he needed to get out of his current recession.
“I think it is clear that we have to increase the effort with which we play,” Williams said. “I think as a vet, you know, I just wanted to lead in that sense and really wanted to be aggressive and show that we should never be a question of type of attempt on the floor.”
Los Angeles (4–10) has played two of their last three matches against WNBA’s best team in Minnesota Links. This includes a loss of 82-66 on Saturday, during which the sparks entered just three points in the fourth quarter.
Minnesota makes the sparks from 64.3 percent to 26.3 percent in the last 10 minutes, with 14 missed shots for Los Angeles.
After playing well for the reconstruction roster for about 35 minutes, the team stunned, but was still a positive on the protective side of the ball with 21 forced turnover.
Los Angeles’ Dearica Hambi led all the sparks with four stolen at the top of 13 points and six rebounds.
“Defensely, we have shown that we want our identity to move forward.” “Show that we are able to work hard and put pressure on the ball and reach people’s place, so that the way we should play for 40 minutes should be.”
