
Chicago Sky’s experienced point guard courtney Vandersloot faced a torn ACL in his right knee and recall the rest of the 2025 season, the team announced on Sunday.
Wandershaloot was injured on Saturday when Akash lost 79-52 at home for Indiana fever. She first went down while driving in the basket in the quarter and had to take her away from the floor.
The 36-year-old Vandershaloot returned to the sky this season after the franchise became great from 2011-22 and then spent two years with New York Liberty.
The five-time all-star and the two-time WNBA champion (once with Chicago, with New York), Wanderslut ranked League History in Assistes (2,886), 15th (544) in theft and 19th (436) in 19th (436).
Wandershaloot also became Chicago’s all-time scoring leader last month, passed by Eli Quigley-his wife. Vandersloot has scored 3,745 points for the sky.
Wandershaloot stole 10.6 points and 5.3 assistance and 1.6 in seven matches this season.
