Sign in Mumbai Indians Raghu Sharma as a replacement for Vignesh Puthur’s IPL

Mumbai Indians (MI) have signed leg-spinner Raghu Sharma as a replacement of Vignesh Puthur, who is excluded from the remaining part of IPL 2025 due to injury, the franchise said on Thursday. It marks Raghu’s first term in the IPL. He joined MI at a base price of Rs 30 lakh from the rap list. Raghu, born on March 11, 1993 in Jalandhar, Punjab, is a right-hand leg-break bowler. He has represented Punjab and Puducherry in domestic cricket. In 11 first -class matches, he has taken an average of 57 wickets in 19.59, with the best bowling figures of 7/56. In List A Cricket, he has claimed 14 wickets in 9 matches, with the best figures of 4/37. He has also painted in 3 T20 matches, who are taking 3 wickets.
Vignesh played five games for Mumbai Indians, took six wickets and started remembering with three wickets against CSK. A right -handed batsman and a left -handed wrist spinner was one of the young gems, which MI has detected over the years, joined the choice of Saurabh Tiwari, Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Verma.
Vignesh started her IPL for Mumbai Indians before playing senior representative cricket for her state. The Kerala came out of the T20 league, where he played for Elappi Reples, taking a successful step for the IPL, in which Ruturaj Gikwad, Shivam Dubey and Deepak Hooda in debut against Chennai Super Kings, finished with 3-32 figures in their four-over spell.
