Shastri wants Arshdeep to test Sudhrasan, England

Shastri wants
Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has supported the inclusion of Sai Sudhar and Arshdeep Singh in India’s squad for the upcoming Test series. The five -match tour will begin on June 20 and will take place before the tour of India. While the recommendation has already been shortlisted for the alleged seizures, it remains to be seen whether Arshdeep and Shreyas can cut.
Shastri wants reforms and Arshdeep in the tour of England
Speaking on the ICC review, Shastri said that he sees Sai as an all-format player. Batting for his inclusion in England tour, the coach of East-India reported that Tamil Nadu batsmen were well aware of the situation in England, apart from being a left-handed batsman.
,Being a left hand in England, knowing the status of English, and just his technique, the way he plays, I think he will be at the top of the list for me who wants to go to this side from outsiders,“Shastri said.
For records, self -governance in domestic cricket and IPL in 2025 have been abundant. He has scored 1957 runs from 29 first class games, which is an average of 39.93. In IPL 2025, he already has 456 runs from 9 matches and average 50.66. He also has the experience of playing in the first county championship, which can prove to be an ex-factor for India when selected in the squad.
Shastri also said that Arshdeep Singh should be included in the squad as he is a left -handed pace. The Punjab bowler has registered his presence in the White-Ball format, but is yet to make his Test debut. Another option that Shastri could have been opposed was Khalel Ahmed.
“It can be anyone. It can also be a white ball expert. I do not like this when he says that there is a ‘white ball expert’ like Arshdeep Singh. You need a left-bormer, go and find it, whoever is and whichever is the best-choose.Shastri said.
No place for Iyer?
,He (Shreyas Iyer) (can return), but it is going to be a competition again, “Shastri said.” White-ball, fixed. Test cricket, we have seen who other players are,He said.
