Shark signs William Eklund 3-year, $ 16.8m extension

San Jose Shark on Tuesday signed William Ekund to three years, $ 16.8 million contract expansion.
The team re-signed Colin White for a year, two-way deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal with the 22-year-old Akunda, bears an average annual value of $ 5.6 million and begins at the 2026–27 season.
Ekland set career height in Gol (17), aid (41) and points (58) and played 77 games in 2024–25. He led the team in assistance and finished second in points.
The 174 sports have 110 points (35 goals, 75 aids) in the sports, as Shark picked them up in 2021 with number 7.
The 28-year-old White, appeared in three matches with San Jose in 2024–25, spent the season wholesale with San Jose Barakuda in the US Hockey League. Ottawa Senators have 113 points (44 goals, 69 aids) in 323 matches with five teams since they drafted him with the 21st overall pick in 2015.
