‘Shake’ Delhi Capital Star Jake Fraser-Makegurk refused to re-include IPL 2025 even after the India-Pakistan ceasefire

Around 6 pm on Wednesday, the manager of Jake Fraser-Makegurk told Delhi Capital (DC) that the young right-handed opener Indian Premier League (IPL) was not returning to India for the remaining franchise’s remaining games in 2025, resumed on 17 May. With your cutter and slow balls. IANS understands that most of the foreign cricketers from Australia, especially DC and Punjab Kings (PBK) set-ups, were scared of fear and stress for their lives after the game was called in Dharamshala last week.

“Jake was shaken compared to most foreign players in Dharamshala at that time. It’s not surprising (his decision to exit IPL 2025),, given that he is the youngest of foreign players in DC setup. In addition, he was very uncomfortable when the game was returned to Dharamshala.”

“In all, he was not feeling things in a good way, and I am very grateful that I was there to help guide through all of that.

This agency also understands that internal, some of the foreign players of both teams, especially from Australia, expressed concern over playing in Dharamshala on 8 May, as the border tension between India and Pakistan was intensified, but they were confident of taking the area by the tournament officials in any way.

But as drones and air strikes from Pakistan blackouts in Jammu, Udhampur and Pathankot, which were located less than 250 km away from Dharassha, the match was closed after the game of just 10.1 overs, and due to this the players had to return to their hotels under tight security.

All the people associated with the IPL were arranged to vacate everyone belonging to New Delhi through buses, they were taken to Jalandhar, where a special ‘Vande Bharat’ train brought them to the national capital of India on Friday night. Melbourne -based Young, who also coachs the Netherlands captain Scott Edwards, further clarified why there is still great fear and reluctance to return to India between foreign players and coaches for the remaining IPL 2025.

“The entire Delhi Capital Management and Employees showed incredible care and concern for our safety immediately after the events in Dharamshala. They were really amazing during those uncertain and subjects.”

“But I have to tell you that where we were in Dharmashala, 80 km around the open war, it is just a foreign concept for foreigners, including Australians. I know that there is a long route for some Indians 60-80 kilometers away, but in Australia, we travel 60 kilometers in 45 minutes, so it is very close to comfort.”

IANS also understands that DC’s fielding coach Anton Rocks, also uncertain about coming back to India if the league resumed. But on Wednesday, according to his Instagram account, Rukes posted that he had returned to India to re -connect DC, which is one of the seven teams in the IPL 2025 playoff race.

IPL sources have also told IANS that the left-handed fast-bouler Michel Starc is also uncertain to come back to the remaining DC’s remaining games, while FAF Do Placeis and Triston Stabs status is also 50–50 in nature. In the context of PBK, which has been given the basis of a new house in Jaipur, there is no word yet who will return to the IPL 2025 of their foreign players.
