Shaheen Afridi gifted 24k Gold-Plated iPhone 16 Pro from Pakistan Super League. Team partner says “inappropriate”

Pakistan Super League (PSL) is running with IPL 2025. All top Pakistan players are taking action in PSL, which has six cities – based franchise teams – Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Kalandar, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zamey, Quetta Gomators. Pesar Shaheen Afridi of Pakistan is the captain of Lahore Lahore Kalandars. The left-handed pacer is widely considered one of the best in the current generation, although his return has not been the same after an injury-inspired break.
Recently, Afridi was gifted 24k Gold-Plated iPhone 16 Pro by his team. He was presented a phone on the phone seen in amazement with his teammates. Afridi was happy with the gift, and said: “This is heavy”. His Pakistan and Lahore team partner Haris Rauf indulged in the banquet and said: “This is inappropriate”.

IPL 2025 and PSL 2025 are being held at the same time, the players have a difficult task of selecting between two franchise leagues. South Africa all -rounder Corbin Bosch recently paid its price as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) suspended him from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for a year, as a result of getting out of this year’s tournament after being selected in the draft.
Bosch, which was a diamond pick for Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL draft, was later signed as an injury replacement by Mumbai Indians (MI) in the current IPL.
As PSL coincided with the Indian Premier League (IPL) in this season, Bosch dropped out of PSL, allowing him a legal notice for alleged contract violations.
Bosch expressed deep regret to withdraw from PSL, apologizing to Pakistan, Peshawar Zalmi fans and cricket community. He took full responsibility for his tasks and acknowledged the results including fine and ban.
He accepted the lesson he learned and hoped to return to PSL with a renewed dedication and re -acquire the confidence of the fans.
“I deepen my decision to withdraw from the PSL and my honesty for the people of Pakistan, fans of Peshawar Zalmi and my honest cricket community. I am committed to learning from this experience, and hoping to return to PSL in the future with renewed dedication and fans.”
