Alejandro Kirk and Toronto Blue Jais Philadelphia are giving great speed in the Friday opener of the three-game road series against Philadelphia Philise.

Toronto has won 12 of its last 14 matches, including the three-market sweep of St. Louis Cardinals this week. Blue Jais received significant contribution from several players during the series, but Kirk pacified with two couples, two Homer and Four RBI with 9 -for -15 (.600).

Erni Clement had a domestic run and double between three hits in Wednesday’s 5–2 win, while Kirk and Vladimir Gurro Jr. supplied a pair of hits to each.

“Every time we punch in the mouth, we punched the right,” Clement said, which left the game late with a toe injury, which was dropped by manager John Schneider. “This is just so exciting when they score a run and you score two. It’s the most fun we have done as a group in this year and previous years.”

Toronto will look at Kevin Gausman (5-4, 3.87 ERA) to maintain good vibes on Friday. The veteran is starting a quality against the Minnesota twins on Saturday in the right hand, when they allowed three runs and four hits in six innings.

Gausamman has performed nine career performances (eight start) against Philadelphia, which is going 1–4 with 4.24 ERA.

Phillies will compete with the left-arm ranger Suarez (4–1, 2.70), which have been terrible since the onset of a bumpy season. He has allowed just six earned runs at his last six starts, which is good for 1.36 ERA on that stretch.

In his last outing, Suarez gave Pittsburgh Pirates two runs and five hits in seven innings of a 2–1 road necklace.

“He really picked,” said Rob Thomson, manager of Phillies. “First pitch strike. The command of the zone. Its change was really good. … It was really a good day’s job.”

Suarez never started against Toronto. He worked in a game in 2021 against Blue Jais 2 1/3 scorer innings.

Phillies are coming out of a productive series against the Chicago cub when they won two of the three, including a 7–2 win on Wednesday.

Philadelphia has struggled to score domestic runs, especially since Bryas Harper went into the wounded list with wrist swelling in the injured list on Saturday, but Kyle Schwar and Alek Bohm both became deep in Wednesday’s victory.

“I thought we had rotated the bats very well,” Thomson said. “In this series, we had a lot of hits – a lot of single, I think – but I liked our view.”

Jesus Lujardo allowed one run in six innings and hit 10 for Philadelphia, who had entered the series of nine of his last 10 matches.

“This is a good club there,” Thomson said. “They can actually swing bats, so it is too big to win the series against them.”

Blue Jais took two out of three from Philips in Toronto earlier this month. Cancer gave a walk-off hit in the second game of that series before registering three more hits in the closing.
