Seattle got 20 points from Erica Wheeler and nine assistance, 18 points and six to assist from Skyler Digins, 13 points and eight rebounds from EG Magbegor, and 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assistance from Gabby Williams.
Ogwumike pulled down a game-hai 10 boards, helping the storm win a rebounding battle 34–26.
Neeffa Kolier finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and five assistance for Minnesota. Kayla McBrid offered 19 points and six assistance, and Alana Smith had 14 points and six rebounds. Bridget Carlton ended with 11 points.
McBrid’s 3-pointer left the Links deficit with 85–84 to 1:07, Seattle scored the last nine points of the game.
The wheeler had seven points in the last 46.8 seconds, killing a 3-pointer and then two free throw, which was 25 seconds ahead of 90–84.
His jump shot extended the gap to 93-84 while flying with 5.8 seconds.
McBrid, whistle for dishonesty, was given a technical dishonesty after the drama. Digins submerged the technical free throw for the final margin.
Minnesota recalled two shots and did a business at the last minute.
In the second quarter, a collier fedway shot with the remaining 29.6 seconds put links ahead of 49–48, in which Halftime was entered.
Kolier’s shot was 13–1 runs, which gave Minnesota a 60-49 lead in the third quarter with 6:47.
Carlton made two 3-pointers and Kolier scored five points in that stretch.
The storm produced 11 unanswered points to take a 64–62 lead in the third quarter with 1:02.
The 22–4 runs, starting in the third quarter, gave Seattle a 75-66 lead, with 8:07.
Minnesota responded with a run of 8–0, which was overshadowed by a coating of Kolier with 6:01 rest, with margin slices by 75–74.
