Scotty Chefler dominates the memorial again, sets spaces on the US Open in Omont
Jack Nicus’ his own memorial tournament came to his conclusion on Sunday when the host attracted itself to two weeks.
“You are going to find the same rough in Okmont,” Nicholas said, showing that even at the age of 85, he still trains his brain to the US Open.
Nicloss’s pro tip was introduced to the company of Scotty Sheffoler, who recently showed that unwanted advice is not required.
Chefler is on a run that is seeing the history of the game. One win in the memorial was his third in four tournaments and had a seventh consecutive top -10. He became the first player to repeat in Muirfield Village since Tiger Woods (1999–2001). They are only two to back-to-back in the incident.
Perhaps since Woods’ Heidi ground was focused on a single opponent when he got a chance to win a tournament. Many qualifiers for success now seem universal: with playing -you can do it and hopefully the chefler underperform.
Memorial runner-up Ben Griffin said about Sheffeler, “You know that he is going to hit Fairways, you know that he is going to kill Greens, he is not really going to make mistakes.”
“Yes, you know that Scoty is probably going to play a good phase of golf. The man’s tireless,” said the third -place Finisher Sipper Straka.
Spain’s John Rahm threatened as the man that Schfler was now, but he took Live’s money and ran away, with his exploits, it is now barely echoing. Rory McLaroy of Northern Ireland has resumed late with five tournament win in the last two years, including completing a career grand slam in Masters this year. But the Sheffer won only the PGA Championship and is currently the current person.
Since March 2022, sheffer has been the number 1 player in the four separate parts for 142 weeks, including each of the last 107 weeks.
The last player to sit on the loud throne of golf who consecutively? Woods, from June 2005 to October 2010 with a record of 281 weeks in a row.
Where Woods were all thunderstorms, however, the chefler is snow – they need them with recovery shots on Fairways, Greens and some occasions.
Chefler strategy in Muirfield village in this last weekend? Avoid juicy rough at all costs and do not try to shake it when the moment comes. Which brings it back to Niclaoss and his warning to the Omont Country Club near Pittsburgh, where the US Open will be on 13–16 June.
If the memorial seemed to be unprecedented in some way or the other, the region would be better that it would have to face it at a distance of about 200 miles in the east when the US Open starts.
“I mean, this is the same grass,” Nicholas said. “This will be the same thing through the entire midwest.”
The number 2 players in the world, Mcilroy, were elected to leave the memorial to follow their traditional preparations for major tournaments by playing a week ago. This means that he will play in the Canadian Open of this week, which will leave the Sheffer.
World No. 3 Xander Schaffele finished more than 6 in the last two rounds and more than 6 for 72 holes for 72 holes to a shortage tie. No. 4 Colin Moricawa finished 20th and did not better than the 17th in his last five events, while recalling the cut in one of them.
Some of the world’s best must change to gang on the chefler, which has full support of one of the great people of the game.
Nicholas said, “Skafler) has the ability to bring its level, whatever levels are needed.” “This is what good players do. And, you know, he is not a good player – he is a great player. I mean, look at the record that he has done in the last few years. It’s incredible.”
While the most intimidating feature of Sheffeler can be their remarkable stability, the next major tournament state is the state: the last two sessions win six PGA tour by at least four shots in the last two sessions.
And the most recent four-shot win may allow him to reduce the ground in Okmont on Sunday.
“That’s what I think is very good about this golf course – there is an opportunity and has good difficulty,” Sheffler said after walking on the Muirfield track for four consecutive days. “As far as Prep works for the US Open, I mean, the rough is going to be very similar, and I think it’s great.”
