Scooty Chefler’s focus remains fast as Career Grand Slam Talk Build

Scotty Sheffer rescued his golf cap in green, barking an explain in Triumph, and yet the biggest and toughest tournament of his career looked hard with the victory.

“Come on F —– G go! That’s what I am talking about!” Chefler told Caddy Ted Scott that after winning the title at the PGA Championship in Qail Holll in Charlett earlier this month.

Chefler’s response was more of a man on a mission – not satisfied with his latest achievement.

He won his third career in a major tournament, adding titles to Masters in 2022 and 2024. This kept him away from the career Grand Slam by two big companies, which Rory McLero completed with his Masters win in April.

Career Grand Slam has been completed only six times: McLero, Tiger Woods, Jack Nickels, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Jean Sarzen.

Mcilroy’s victory in Augusta means that Scheffler can no longer become the first player to win Masters, PGA Championships, US Open and Open Championships in the same season. But he can still complete a career Grand Slam before the completion of 2025.

Winning three big companies in the same season would be an achievement in itself – one was not fulfilled as Woods claimed the US Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship in 2000. He won the 2001 masters and completed the “Tiger Slam”, giving him all the four major titles at once.

Once the dynamic force was more stable than Woods, the 28 -year -old Sheffer, still represents the best bets to meet such an achievement in the coming years.

The single-season was the Grand Slam Cheatter when Sheffer won its second Masters title in 2024. At that time, he earned nine titles in two sessions, including Masters and Players Championships twice. He won four more tournaments including the Tour Championship in 2024, but finished eighth in the PGA Championship, finished 41st in the US Open, and finished seventh in the Open Championship.

This year’s US Open is coming in Okmont, set for June 12-15. Chefler’s Best US Open Finnish came in 2022, when he finished second in the Country Club in Brookline of Massachusetts. He followed a tie for the third in 2023 at the Los Angeles Country Club.

Now there is an opportunity in Okmont outside Pittsburgh. With the back-to-back win in the Bayran Nelson and PGA Championships, the speed of the chefler has not been denied, followed by Charles Schwab finished fourth in the Challenge.

The chefler has said that he is not playing his best golf recently-despite giving six top-10 finish-one may indicate that his first US is within the open title Reach. Sportsbooks seem to agree, listed as a +350 favorite in drafler with Sheffeler, Mcilroy (+660), Bryson dechambeau (+1100), Xander Schauffele (+1200) and John Rahm (+1200).

“In the first two days I did not swing it my best, and I was able to post a score somehow,” the Sheffer said after winning the PGA Championship. “Outside the last five holes (in Round 3), this is the place where I really put myself forward in the tournament. I mean, back nine (Sunday) was very special.”

The chefler has an unqualified capacity to step on gas when it needs. If he can detect the length and complexities of Omont, he will be a step close to a career Grand Slam in a tournament that will ensure to pull eyes around the world.

The Open Championship, set for July 17-20, will be played at the home turf of McLero in Royal Portrash, Northern Ireland.

It is unlikely to win each other and third chief in a single year. It will not be easy to get the best of Mcilroy in your country. But the Sheffer has not given success by focusing on the wall in front of him. His head stays down all the way.

“When I stepped on T on Thursday, I was not wondering what is going to happen on Sunday. I am preparing for a 72-hal event,” said sometimes a-predetermined chefler. “This is what I tell myself on 1T: This is 72 holes. It is a lot of time. It is a lot of holes. It is a lot of shots.

“I always focus on my preparation, and so when I show on the first t, I just ask myself to be patient, remind myself that I am ready for it, and go out and compete.”

It is true that the chefler is actually talking.
