Sanju Samson’s injury threatens IPL 2025 playoff qualifications

Rajasthan Royals (RR) is in an indefinite position. The 2008 champions may be out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season after just 8 matches. After winning just 2 out of 7 games, he needs to win at least 6 matches to RR to confirm his place in the IPL 2025 playoffs.

Will Sanju Samson play against LSG?

Doing so is a Hercules in itself. But probably before imagining doing so, RR may have lost his captain, Sanju Samson. The wicketkeeper batsman injured himself in the last match against Delhi’s capitals and retired. Samson did not come out to bat, and after the match it was said that he was fine.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi to start IPL?

There has been a lot of things about Vaibhav Suryavanshi and will he play or not. But if Samson is not fit, it can be the best option of RR. There are no replacement batsmen in his squad. This means that either Kunal Singh can play Rathore or Suryavanshi.

Now, Kunal did not play bats in mid -order and T20 matches from October 2023. Meanwhile, Suryavanshi, meanwhile, was opened for Bihar in the only T20 match played in November last year.
