Sahith Theegala Canadian open for rest injury

Saithi Thegala, who recalled the tournament due to a neck injury this year, confirmed on social media on Wednesday that he had withdrawn from this week’s RBC Canadian Open and would need to rest “for a while”.

“Doctors have advised me to remove the clubs for a while, because I get treatment and some rest for an injury. I have been struggling for the last few weeks, so it’s a sting,” Theegala wrote on his Instagram account without specifying the injury.

The ambassador representing the title sponsor RBC, Thegala wrote that he was very disappointed and withdrew from one of his favorite events of the year with “A Heavy Heart”. RBC Canadian on Thursday opened TEES Open Tees at Opera Valley in Calledon, Ontario at TPC Toronto.

“The place looks beautiful and I have heard a lot of great things about the golf course and the convenience as a whole,” he wrote.

27 -year -old Thegala is placed at number 39 in the world. He has played in 15 events this year, recalling two cuts and one return and two top -25 finish. Theegala missed out on cutting memorials in the last weekend.

He returned on the eve of the PGA Championship in early May, as due to a neck injury after three rounds due to the same disease after the Trust Championship. Now he is clearly going to remember the US Open next week in Omont.
