More IPL matches in 2028?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) may expand from 74 matches to 94 matches, which is probably starting from 2028. IPL President Arun Dhumal confirmed that the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering the move to create a balanced structure where each team plays every other team at home and away. However, this will require current 9 weeks to 11 weeks of window. The current window is closed until 2027, so there will be any possibility of any change with the next media-rights cycle.
